Tekstil started the way the best things do — on a trip. We began traveling to Turkey in search of rugs we simply couldn’t find stateside, and what started as a few carefully chosen pieces grew into a collection we couldn’t stop building. We travel across Anatolia three to four times a year, hand-selecting every antique and vintage rug based on color, pattern, age, and character. These are rugs crafted to last for generations — each one unique, made by hand at a time when that was the only way. Every piece is chosen by us, which means our designers are working with a collection that reflects a genuine point of view — not an aggregated inventory.
