Tekstil started the way the best things often do, on a trip. We began traveling to Turkey in search of rugs we couldn’t find stateside, and what started as a handful of pieces quickly grew into a collection we kept building.

We now travel across Anatolia several times a year, hand-selecting each antique and vintage rug based on color, pattern, age, and character. Every piece is made by hand and truly one of a kind, chosen with intention. The result is a collection that reflects a clear point of view, giving designers something more thoughtful than a standard, aggregated inventory.
